The same God who created the universe (Genesis 1:1), is the same God who claims to have authored the Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Therefore, true science and true religion will always be in agreement. 2. Long before man discovered the following scientific truths or laws, the Bible had mentioned them as fact: (a) The earth is round (Isaiah 40:22). (b) The water-vapor cycle (Ecc. 1:7). (c) The law of biogenesis, life comes from life (Genesis 1:11). (d) The first law of thermodynamics (Genesis 2:1). (e) The second law of thermodynamics (Hebrews 1:10-12). (f) Woman has a seed of procreation (Genesis 3:15). (g) Understanding infectious diseases (Leviticus chapters 13-15). (h) Ocean currents (Psalm 8:8). (i) Ocean trenches (Job 40:16). 2. Lest we might be tempted to say, ‘What does Jesus know about origins, science or creation?’ Have we forgotten that Jesus is the Creator? (John 1:1-3) And that He created the entire universe, including all the laws which govern it? (Colossians 1:17)
