Christianity: Is It A Crutch?

The first question that must be answered is, “does man need help?” Merely reading the newspaper will answer that question in the affirmative. Both the Scriptures and human experience prove that man is incapable of morally and spiritually guiding himself (Proverbs 16:25Jeremiah 10:231 Corinthians 1:26Romans 1:18-32).  If we are tempted to think that our own time is more enlightened than others, or that our technology will provide the answer to all our problems, please answer the following question: ‘What sin mentioned in the Bible no longer plagues the human race?’ (1 Corinthians 6:9-11Galatians 5:19-21Romans 1:29-31). The truth is that everyone presently alive uses some sort of crutch as they attempt to cope with life.
