Reincarnation: Can It Be Harmonized With The Bible?

The Bible contradicts the theory of Reincarnation: (a) Man has only one earthly lifetime (2 Samuel 12:23Ecc. 12:7Luke 16:25Hebrews 9:27-28). (b) According to Reincarnation, man eventually saves himself, something the Bible clearly denies (Titus 3:5Ephesians 2:8-9Jeremiah 10:23). (c) There is no room for a Savior in Reincarnation, which makes the sacrifice of Jesus Christ meaningless and unnecessary (John 14:6Acts 4:12). (d) Reincarnation also denies the resurrection of the dead (1 Corinthians 15:12ff); the existence of hell (Matthew 25:46); and the final judgment (2 Corinthians 5:10).
